This pond at city center north is a great recreation spot.
A beautiful park in a tropical setting including a nursery and very close to the zoological garden for sure a highlight of the city and the place to go to sit down on a quiet place and relax. There are always some lovebirds hanging around having a good time.
Behind the Shwedagon Pagoda which pops up golden into the sky a magnificent panorama opens. Several hotels and resorts are close to the water such as the Kandawgyi Palace and the Chatrium Hotel.
