This amusement spot are couple of discos and Karaoke Bars.
JJ Disco is quite big for Yangon dimensions and people are having fun indeed. There are also some approachable girls around who don't scream automatically no to everything a truly genuine Yangon nightlife which is not bad at all.
What is somehow disturbing, the whole environment is a rotten one, the buildings, the yard, the road etc. but this is the same everywhere in the country, it reminds to Mumbai, Calcutta etc.
All interesting nightlife is somehow connected to business with girls.
Who want to hang around and just drink something? The show should go on and that's what what happen. It's 3 step forwards and 2 backwards but still moving which is the most important stuff.
Karaoke and show girls are the essence of Yangon's nightlife they are around to entertain the people locals and foreigners. Prices are low, for oversea standards so everyone can afford some fun in the evening and the whole is quite safe. All this places have security and if trouble, particular drunken guys they are consequent and throw them out.
