Bogyoke AUng San market is a oriental bazaar in the best tradition of the 19th Century with all the treasures people came from all around the world to buy exotic items such as gemstones, rubies, sapphire and jadeite jade plus the whole range of semi precious stones. Also gold, silver, diamonds and pearls from local production are available.
The convenient location opposite the Shangri-La Sule Hotel makes it easy to visit, actually coming to the city and not visiting this place is like not have been here, it's closed on Monday.
